   However, there are traces of screamo on Dead and Dreaming; Dry Kill Logic does incorporate some of the extreme vocals/clean vocals contrast that is one of screamo's trademarks. But the clean vocals are really an afterthought on this release; Most of the time, lead vocalist Cliff Rigano favors angry, cathartic, death-all-over-your-face screaming -- and more often than not, Dead and Dreaming is a 7/

   Together since , Dry Kill Logic (formerly Hinge) have seen their fair share of ups & downs writing the music they love.. After a few line up changes to become the band we know & love, Dry Kill Logic entered their rehearsal studio in Mt. Vernon, NY in February of to begin writing what would eventually become "The Dead & Dreaming"/5(52).

   The Dead and Dreaming is the second full-length album by the metal band Dry Kill Logic. It was released in the USA on October 5, , by Repossession Records. The international version of the album was distributed by SPV Records. Only one song, "Paper Tiger", was released as a single. In this album the band takes a much more metal direction leaving aside the more traditional nu metal sound .

   For the record I'm not really a Dry Kill Logic fan per say. I own their first two records and I've heard all of the new one. I'd have to say The Dead and Dreaming is their "crowning" effort. Now first off, nothing about this band is really original/5(12).
